Real experience
Gram & Dun is definitely a high quality KC restaurant. Enjoyed brunch here a couple of times with my parents in town. First, I want to say that our server was outstanding. Knowledgeable, gave recommendations, very attentive. The atmosphere is nice and I think anyone would enjoy it (outdoor patio as well).
The food was good but under-seasoned to me. I think seasoning could have kicked up the breakfast sandwich and there didn’t seem to be any salt with the potatoes. That may be what some people prefer, but just one disappointing observation for me.
I had the Picasso mocktail. I want to emphasize that I GREATLY appreciate places like this that put an effort into mocktails. This one was good but spicier than I think it needed to be (and I like spicy).
I’m nitpicking a bit but just my thoughts. I would definitely recommend them!

A bright sunny evening made Gram & Dun’s outdoor patio a happy hour hot spot. I was looking for my first solo, away for work travel meal in days (an introvert needs to recharge, after all) and this was a great dinner. Service was attentive and friendly and my experience – from cocktail to entree to dessert – was top notch.
My cocktail was the Purple Rain, an attractive and tasty concoction with a madeira rye, allspice, lemon, and blueberry-mint jam (not too sweet, thankfully). My entree was the seasonal curry: very yummy with coconut curry, broccolini, butternut squash, mushrooms, red pepper, spiced peanuts, cilantro, and jasmine rice. I ordered it without protein and didn’t miss a thing. Dessert? The empanadas, which were awesome: pineapple compote, dulce de leche, rum cherry sauce, and piña colada ice cream.

Great date night starting here! I’m not sure you could go wrong with what to order…we both loved our cocktails & mocktails, octopus for app was divine, would order the salmon again and again, and could eat an entire vat of the goat cheese mashed.
Service, atmosphere, location are all spot on.
Hard to repeat restaurants in KC, but this will be at the top of the list every time!

I had Samantha as my bartender and she was so amazing from start to finish & her back up was Noah who of course was a perfect match up. My dish was the chicken and waffle meal and I also had the steak medium rare w mashed potatoes and broccoli it was honestly perfect. I also had tequila on the rocks and I tried their margarita w salt. Great atmosphere. Perfect service. Delicious food. 10/10 total bill a little over $100 and I have no complaints well worth it

We had a great time! The food and drinks were great. Our server Jo was awesome and Jim the manager even gave a champagne toast for my birthday!!! I definitely recommend the Basil Smash cocktail and the Gram & Dun bar for dessert. Well definitely be back!!!
finally
Everything about this place was good. Wonderful, quick and friendly service. Outdoor eating patio was wonderful. The only only thing I didn’t care for was a red sauce on my broccolini. Macaroni cheese was excellent! Definitely recommend this place.
